The knee is one of the largest and most weight-bearing joints in the body. The knee joint consists of the thigh bone (femur) and patella from above and the leg bone (tibia) from below. There are four major ligaments in the knee. These are elastic tissues that connect one bone to another, providing strength to the joint and maintaining joint stability. Ligaments of Knee: Anterior Cruciate Ligament, Posterior Cruciate Ligament, Medial Collateral Ligament, Lateral Collateral Ligament.
